Pre- & Post-Op Care
Preparing for your procedure is just as important as following the post-operative instructions. If you are having surgery, Dr. Mukerji and his staff will give you instructions to help you prepare in advance, including guidelines on eating and drinking, smoking, and taking or avoiding certain vitamins and medications. While making preparations, be sure to arrange for someone to drive you home after your surgery and to help you out for a few days, if needed.
As with any other surgical care, post-operative care is imperative in the case of plastic surgery. Recovery varies from no downtime for BOTOX® Cosmetic treatments to a week or more for plastic surgery procedures. We encourage you to follow the instructions provided to you and to call our clinic with any questions.
Financing Information
Dr. Mukerji offers financing to qualified applicants through CareCredit®. Just apply online or by phone, and find out if you qualify immediately. This healthcare credit card allows you to pay for your procedure by making convenient monthly payments. With short-term options of 6, 12, 18 or 24 months, you are not charged interest on purchases of at least $200 if you:
- Make the minimum monthly payments, and
- Pay the full amount due by the end of the promotional period (**if you do not, interest is charged from the original purchase date)
Insurance
Most of the procedures Dr. Mukerji performs are considered cosmetic and are not covered by medical insurance. Certain procedures such as breast reduction may be considered medically necessary and covered by insurance. Check your policy for benefits. We will assist you in obtaining pre-authorization from your insurance company if possible.
